At least CIC finally shows April! Very happy to see that...I hope they will give out a few April approvals before the weekend...and for sure next week I hope to see a lot of movement!

Imagine, an approval could come soon...it's hard to believe after all this waiting!!!

I guess it's good that I am 12 hours ahead of CIC-M and CIC-O. I go to sleep every night with the hope of seeing some good news in the morning...especially in my inbox!

Last night my dad was telling me of this PhD from China who is working on some system they are designing for the medical industry. He couldn't remember if the guy was a PR or on another visa, but he mentioned that he has tried to bring his wife over 3 times and each time he was rejected. I wonder why? Surely having a PhD would make it easier, no? It kind of scared me, but then again, I have no other information on this guy, so who knows why he was rejected...

yes....that is strange unless maybe they feel for some reason the marriage is not bonefide.....maybe they married quickly and aren't in touch that much or enough to satisfy the agent working on the file......

I just checked ecas... And for the first time,i saw an update!!!!!

It states APPLICATION RECEIVED (march 30) under 'Sponsorship Application status' and 'permanent residence status'

Now i have peace of mind that our application was indeed received by CIC...

Did you receive an AOR? And who's name did you put in the Ecas, the Sponsor or the Applicant?

Wow..they skipped almost entire april and may to do may 28...Unbelievable!
