Awesome news! Oh my gosh the mail service there.. I don't think I have ever seen a post man in our Davao Subdivision. ???Maybe theres too many dogs

I don't know.. we're Conjugal. So for sure they will ask for more proof of separation with his ex which will cost time and money.. and also our Med is 1 year and 4 months old already.. so we will need another.. probably another 4 months before we are looking at anything, and not even sure if we will be accepted. Anyways we're still doing all we can to process through the old Annulment even if it is futile we at least one day can have our plan of marriage.

That's great! Enjoy your visit. This long distance thing really sucks! I totally understand what you mean by day by day. I really hope for this process to be over soon for us all. You also had a super difficult time with the first step which doesn't make it easier whatsoever.

Right now, I'm thinking when all is done and over with, I'm not gonna look back ever again. But then again I think that I will actually look back to remember what we had to go through to be together. Some days, I look at the couples walking together or going the restaurant together etc with amazement. I wonder if they realize that someone (i.e. I) would give anything to be able to have what they already have.

My wife got a call today from Hong Kong visa office. She had sent in her passport and another document requested last week. Her medical expires on the 15th of November. They said her Visa is approved and they asked her if she can land before the expiry date. She would have to redo medical if not and they would extend the visa for another 2 months in such case. She told them she will discuss it with me and they told her to send a email to the visa office with the decision. Of course we decided to have her land before the 15th of November.
So I guess our case is done. Visa issue date verbally today but officially within next few days, landing on Nov. 14th

We are among top 20% in processing time for Hong Kong and it is all because we did a good job putting our application together. We had 13 lbs of material, forms, photos, correspondences and evidence for our relationship and it showed that the more you can proof and show that the love relationship is genuine, the better.
Thanks all for the support, encouragement and well wishes. Every application will get a decision sooner or later and its worth every day of waiting.

It seems as though the visa offices are processing a lot faster than expected. This is definitely positive for those still waiting...your time will come, and hopefully like us, it will be faster than you think!!

Hi Mobeyk: RE photos (immigration photos): Does the applicant need to write name and DOB at the back of the photos that were required to submit with the application. Like 09/08 number of recent photos. What did you do in your case? Thanks in advance for your time.
