Hello everyone, i am putting together all the requested documents from the VO for my wife's interview. My question is for the proof of communication do i have to send everything from the time we met until today or i have to send only the document after our application was filed. The didn't mention whether a recent or everything we have submitted to them. Thanks you in advance

Can you tell me if you had already provided them with such documentation when you sent your sponsorship application? Thanks.

also.. my husband and I just moved and are without internet for the next few weeks. I'll check in whenever I can find a wireless hotspot, so don't fret if the spreadsheet goes undated for some time.

I'd bring everything from the beginning of time up to the present...for an interview, I would go in with WAY more than what I would actually need...

And they request everything again?! Oh dear! They really don't want to make things easy! I am afraid my husband will have to go for an interview too, so I'd better gather all of these documents again...

actually you are only suppose to bring in evidence and further proof since the submission of your application.....unless they specifically tell you they have lost your proof.......FS was stating if it was him he would bring everything in again but usually when they make the phone call for the interview or email they tell you to bring any additional proof.......that is why it is important to submit all your proof that you think you need at the time of application......we are going next month for an interview and they specifically requested and new proof or evidence since the submission of our application and so that is what we are gathering.....our app was sent out in Feb so everything since then is being gathered.

They say a proof of communication and i think they suppose to be specific whether they want the recent proof after we submitted our application or everything. I am beginning to understand that the VO office like mine which calls for interview don't review any file before the request the interview. When the file is transfer the just schedule people for interview without reviewing the file to see what you submitted with the application.

new delhi visa office is so fast... congratulations to kingcobra... all of us from manila visa office are still waiting for PPR.

Try having to go through HK! We got lucky, but a lot of people have to wait well over a year...

I've heard that CIC seems to give preferential treatment for certain nationalities looking to immigrate to Canada...India being one such country...China as well (Beijing is very fast). HK, thanks to a lot of fraudsters, is quite slow for a lot of cases.

I guess at the end of the day it's the luck of the draw and how well you prepared the application.
