Alright, we've got our COPR papers and the online "decision made" status now shows online. :D The COPR indicates that our papers were issued on November 12th exactly 7 months after we applied. We are so excited!! And hope that everyone else's experience can be this positive. Good luck!

Thanks sweden seems like the seoul office resolved whatever issue they were having last year. Quite a few seoul applicants have been approved in under 5 months.

We got our passport request and they wanted us to double check the address to send copr. I think this means we're done! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! so unbelievably excited! :D

We also just got a passport request and mailing address request so that they can send the copr three weeks after the original biopage request...so definitely.a good thing.

It's standard procedure in Seoul to ask for another photocopy of the biopage according to many on this forum. I think it's just to make sure that the passport info hasn't changed before they draw up a COPR and visa. We sent our stuff in (they wanted the RPRF fee, a corrected 5669, biopage, and...

No problem BBC :) So after sending the documents that they asked for last week, we got a new email today asking for a Korean criminal record check. We're sending it tomorrow and hoping the next email will be a passport request! (or something similarly easy to get)

Welcome Girzim! Its nice to have another Seoul visa person. So far the few Seoul people I have found have had a nightmarish time with the office on account of proof of intent to live in Canada. Is the sponsoring person in your case living in Korea? Either way hopefully things will go well...

They received my package on the 13th of April according to my Fedex waybill.

I should add that it was approved by Ottawa.

Application received April 13th, 2012. Approved July 12th, 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks like its going to be a nice, relaxing weekend!
