its been 2 months now, dont recieve any updates in manila cic office,
anyone pls have an idea whats happening in manila cic office?

merger, how was PDOS? May specific day ba ang PDOS? or can I just go any day from Monday to Friday?

sorry late post. eto na kwento ko about PDOS

for Canada, Mon to Fri ang schedule, starting 9:30am

So kahapon, Monday, sa takot ko na maubusan ng slot (65 lang yata allowed per day), arrived at CFO 7:30am! :

Medyo nakakalito pagdating ko ng CFO may pila sa entrance pa lang. Un pala, ibang pila yun. So ask the guard muna kung saan un PDOS for canada clients, with PR spouse. You will be directed sa reception staff agad, iwan ka ng ID, tapos bibigyan ka ng green ID.

Tapos pasok ka ng isang room. super dami tao na nakaupo. Nalito ako ulet. Yun pala sa right side US clients, sa left side Canada and other countries yata. Pila agad ako sa Canada side (seated).. Walang numbers or anything, ask lang kung saan dulo ng line or last sa pila.

Buti na-download ko na ang form and nasagutan sa house. Yung iba kasi nagmamadaling mag fill-out dun habang umaandar yung pila so kalat-kalat gamit at natataranta. I suggest sagutan na sa bahay para hindi magpanic pagdating dun. OK lang naman na dun magsagot kaso minsan malalaktawan ka, minsan naman tatawagin ka (para macount ka) pero to follow papers mo e hassle pa un.

Nung turn ko na, lapit sa window, bigay documents, tapos check nila documents mo. Pag OK na, refer ka sa cashier na katabing window lang

Sa cashier, bayad P400 then bigyan ka receipt. Tapos kukunin na documents and passport mo. Mga 8am na yan and bigla sila nag-announce na pwede na umakyat pag may receipt na.

Sa ayun pag-akyat ko sa 2nd floor Canada room, pang 4 ako! hehe. May mga videos na ipapanuod dun ng paulet-ulet. By 8:30am, half pa lang ng room napupuno. By 9am, may dumadating pa. Sa super bored na ko nun haha

By 940am, dumating na un speaker. Natapos kami almost 1pm na! pero in fairness, dami ko din natutunan. At the end of the session, distribution na ng passports with stickers! yey!

in my case after submitting the application, it took 3 months for sponsorship approval (first stage), 2 months to receive PPR (passport request), then around 5 weeks to receive passport with visa. Total of 7 months.

So I guess you just have to wait a little longer...

hi merger! tanong ko lang: How and who gave the instructions about doing the PDOS? i realized lang kasi since im applying for sponsorship for my kid na nandyan pa sa Phil kung ire-require pa syang mag-PDOS like most of you guys here in this forum (since you are mostly SPOUSES)? Where will i get the instructions from regarding completing PDOS? Will CEM give this? Thanks!
