I sent mine the 14 of april and it got there on the 18. i dont know about anyone else but as soon as i mailed mine off i wanted it back to go over one more time. i mean you never know what makes it wat they are looking for you just hope for the best i guess.......nerve racking though

I sent mine off on Wednesday by FedEx and they got it on Thursday. Praying that it doesn't get sent back to me and everything goes smoothly.

I understand the feeling... on the same token, I was happy that was gone and couldn't go over it AGAIN!!!!!!

hi guys,

we send our application in march and recived the approval in april, so i´m not sure if i belong to april or march. does anybody have a clue how long till berlin requests my passport, i konw the site says 13 months, but what the hell are they doing so long . i assume that everything will be ok, i did the medical, i paid, i have no kids :'( :'( :'(.

Actually, I think you "belong" to march.
I apply through Berlin too and I don't think it takes them 13 months by far... I hope not; that would be very frustrating...
what I read on the forum about Berlin is that they usually take about 4 to 5 months for the family class apllications for spouses, for most of them.
The 13 months seems to be a sort of an average of all the family-class applications, including sponsoring parents and other relatives,
which takes much much longer than spouses.
Ok, I might be totally wrong here, Im not an expert; don't want to give you false-hope, but this is what I came to conclude after studying Berlin processing times.
My guess is you'll be accepted in fall of 2011, if all is complete and correct and interview is not asked for, of course.
As long as I am accepted before december 1st, I'll be happy, because I already planned on finishing this year at my current job.

I sent mine today! lol.. but im so anxious about everything that im already coming here to share with you guys! Hoping that everything will be fine and quick! We applied through Buenos Aires so i hope to get news from other people who had to deal with that Visa Office too!

When i was at the post office, the girl asked me if she could close the envelope and i hesitated, feeling like to go through it again to be sure.. haha.. they will make us crazy i think!!! ???

i hope you´re right, i sold already my house, they say you shouldn´t do this before you get your ok. but everybody knows how long it can take, if you´re not lucky as i was (thanx god). i´m curios how long it will take for you. did you already do your medical? do you know how long it takes till berlin gets the ok from the medical, they said they´ll send first the results to vienna and then back to berlin.

I was rather hoping that the online status lookup would give me some glimmer of hope (all I have is the receipt number) but from the 7th (when they received my application according to Canada Post) until today, no luck. But I suppose it's only 19 days of 38 and I can wait....

yes, I already did my medical... I did it before we sent the whole package.
We added the little document I got from the doctor to the package we sent.
I don't know anything about sending results to Vienna.
Let's hope we will all be accepted quickly.

Canada Post online tracking reads: Item successfully delivered Mississauga.

Does anyone else find it a strange feeling? We've spent so much time and money getting all the documents in order, translations and notarizations, printing, photos, DHL deliveries, medical checks...and now it's all out of our control and in the hands of Canadian bureaucrats...

Hi atethepaint! You are not alone having a strange feeling. My husband and I feel the same way too... since we filed our application and it is in the hands of CPC-M we think about it everyday hoping and praying that every things would be fine, I check Ecas almost everyday though its not yet available..hahaha! But as of now all we have to do is wait patiently ... Good luck to all of us.. GOD BLESS US ALL!

as i checked the cic website today saying that working on 22march2011 application so how many days more will they take to send the decision on that n when will those guys receive them does any1 have idea..............? too much anxious...................
