Hi prmalr,
Yes , wrt PCC and any document, they keep the scanned copies for life time, if u just see the lowest part of all the applications, it is written in small fonts that they can share our data with prospective agencies in future.

Hi Friends,
Can someone, who got the VISA stamped tell me the timeline to land in Canada once the PP with VISA is received?
Cheers,KRG
It is 12 months from the date of visa for landing in Canada.

You need to land in canada:-

1) 12 months from date of ur medical or
2) Passport expiry date

Whichever is earlier

Visa Validity Date -On visa record of landing will specify the date by which an immigrant must present for admission to Canada. Canadian law does not provide for the extension or the renewal of the visa validity date, which generally coincides, with the one-year anniversary of the initial medical examination. The main applicant and all accompanying dependants must enter Canada before the visa expiry date.

Accompanying dependants must land with or after the principal applicant.

Change in civil status - A marriage, divorce or birth/adoption of a child must be reported to the visa office before departing for Canada.

Earlier u told 12 months from date of visa which is totally wrong

If ur passport expires before ur visa expiry, u need to land before visa expiry

Congratulations!

Nowadays many medicals are going to be expired very soon while still not receiving PPR. Do you think they will extend the madical validity or we have to re-do medical?
