I applied for caips in the first week of april and haventanything yet.my 120 days bfd is over.when did u apply and did your relative received any acknowledgement for the same

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on Month ** , 2012. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

This is my guess only. There may be true only for NDVO.

Didn't say any thing about Verification calls. It just say Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 20th, 2012.

This is my guess only. There may be true only for NDVO.

I found also another evidence if you receive verification call before in process. your ecase in process status like below

Letter send line mention in ecase shows in that case whose details is below before in process.....
We received your application for permanent residence on Jan 21, 2010.

I received my CAIPS on 15th May, 2012 through my relative. Kindly give your comments for these.The details are as under:
NOC 4131
1. Points Awarded = 69 (No points awarded for my relative in canada even though I submitted sufficient proofs - However)
2. PSDEC = Passed
3. SELDEC = Passed
2. Security = Passed
3. Criminal = Passed
4. ECU requested for
Current Passports*2 (old and new)
Medicals*2
RPRF*2
Proof of Funds

My BF'D was 10 may , 2012.nothing asked for till date.

Important observation from the CAIPS notes is that the file was transfeed in june 2010 directly to ECU and not lately as being speculated on the forum.

Kindly provide your inputs and evaluation for the same.

It may be that security checks are being done before medicals now, his caips report was requested closer to the 120 day BFD, while the others were soon after the in-process date. Maybe that's why the others didn't have them. Again only speculation, will need to wait for more caips reports that were requested around the BFD.

Finally after 2 years my status is Inprocess , still long way to go:

Hello Pharma guy,

Actually,my relative had applied for CAIPS NOTES sometime during the first week of March,2012.Having failed to get any response form CIC OTTAWA, a reminder was sent which evoked immediate response, suggesting that the required information was released on April 15 nd sent by regular post to my relative's known address in Calgary,canada.When my relative inormed to Cic that the consignment contaning the information did not reach her,she was advised to contact a particular officer at CIC for release of a duplicate copy of CAIPS NOTES relevent to my file.The matter was instantly taken up and the concerned officer informed to have sent the same on MAY 10,yet again by ordinary CANADA POST ignoring applicant's request to email it.
So,the atttude of CIC/CHC seems to be a precurser to what we,the most of prejuneres,have in store for us.Adimittely,however,we cannot intrude CANADA,so long as a formal/official invitaion(visa doc),the prepaid one of ourse, is recvd,
Let us wait nd watch, how the wind blows.Meanwhile,wish u all the best .

i submitted the documents (PCC AND NEWBORN) asked by nd visa office after in process with date .
so far no updates from nd visa office , silence is killing me ,how long it takes to get any updates after submitting the required documents?
my contract is getting over in august , dont want to renew it ,should i leave my present job in the hope that i will get medical request in june/july?
plese advice

After more than two years, my application was received by them on the 28th April, my ECAS still shows RBVO---!!!!!!!! God knows what is the status.

did you receive any verification call? you can receive a phone call. According to my knowledge your verification BFD is 27 may. Hope your status will change to in process after 27 may. This is my guess according to the NDVO process history.
