NO.

Simplified, it is not called as MI
2008 Feb : MI-1
2010 June : MI-2
2011 June : MI-3
2012 June: MI-4 [ Expected ]

hotheart007,

if you wanna apply again, try collecting all the papers again but original certs you'll not get again so its not possible to launch concurrent applications. No one knows that 3142 will make it into the list of upcoming MI-4. it could take months to return your original docs.

Today, I have received a letter from visa office-London.
it says like this.............

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. It has been reviewed by an officer and found to be eligible for further processing.
We anticipate being able to advise you of the next processing steps in 6 to 12 months' time
.
Please note that your application is still subject to admissibility checks and verifications that are deemed necessary.

You should note take any irrevocable action such as selling your property, quitting your job, or buying plane tickets until we have advised you of the final decision on your application. Please do not make any case status requests during the next 12 months as they will not be answered.

However, please do advise us if there is a change in your personal circumstances, such as birth of a child, a marriage or divorce.
Please ensure you quote your file number on any correspondence send to us.
All irreplaceable original documents , which were not obtained for the purpose of submitting an application for immigration ,are being returned to you.( I got return few documents such as my and wife nativity certificate, birth certificate , work experience letters ( mine and my wife work experience which are not necessary for points) etc.

I sent my child application with complete documentation in 22nd Dec,2011 to London office.

Re: <<<<<< december 2010 Applicants >>>>>>>

hi, every one i am new to this blog , my name in MERCEDES, i would like to communicate with all applicants in dec 2010.

new Updates.............. >:(

They might come out with new NOC list on July 1st and there will be a single queue for each NOC with MI-1 applications in the front.
If your NOC is not on the list, your application may not even get processed. This can be good news for some (if your NOC is in the new list).

For example if NDVO has 10K applications (MI1 - MI3) now, and their quota is 8K, these 8k visas will be given to approved NOCs in MI - MI3 and MI4. After processing the approved NOC applications, they might look at other applications.

If my NOC is not required, or not in the list, I have very less hope of getting the visa.

All - Please share your opinion.

Quote from: kavya on April 18, 2012, 12:43:20 am
Today, Minister Kenney announced two additional changes that will help transform Canada's immigration system. One proposed change would help CIC ensure FSW applicants meet current labour market needs. It would allow new rules set out in Ministerial Instructions to apply to people who have already submitted an application. For example, instructions could place a priority on a specific occupation, such as doctors, and have existing applications from doctors processed first, regardless of where they are in the queue.

A similar change would allow new regulations, once approved, to apply retrospectively to people who have already submitted an application. These changes would help ensure that immigrants are chosen based on Canada's current needs and priorities.

I can find two things from those two paragraphs;

a) unlike their recent system, they might give priority to those applicants who have applied in MI-1 then to MI-3, for example, if they need doctors they will see to the same applicants first to MI-1 then to MI-3.

b) I mean if they mean to issue visa based on recent job demand list, what does that 29 NOC list which they already declared as on demand list. I mean out of that 29, how can still they be choosy for further priority, unless they mean to reduce the NOC from this July. In other words, if they set NOC list from july, that should mean all of them NOCs are in demand and should be treated equally. Also I feel they might remove CAP system.

I dont know I am just guessing

God Bless,
Kavya
