Pls I need a reply to this mail, I applied under FSW under the NOC 2255 I have sent my initial application form to CIO office in Sydney Nova Scotia through a regular from Ontario since March 26, 2010 and till date I have not received any letter either from my email address nor from my postal address, even I had check my junks mail but couldn't find anything there, pls I want you to help out bcos I don't know what is happen and the issue of 120 days deadline I want to meet up with. Somebody help out.

Hi Zacolas,

As per the current trend on the thread of "April applicants", it seems that CIO(NS) is taking about 2 months to charge your credit card( or any other mode of payment) which is followed by another 4 weeks of wait to get your 1st AOR from CIO(NS).

You may want to join the thread of "March 2010 applicants"to check with their timelines.

Hi Eseola,

I am just forwarding the information that rao-manoj gave to another member of the forum. It is as follows:

You need to call at 16139444000 and then select options in this sequence 1...2...1...2....1

You would be placed in queue and after 5-10 minutes, your call would be attended by someone. The person would ask for client id. Since you don't have it, provide your name and DoB and then ask for your status & client id.

He also mentions that he called through SKYPE which is very cheap. You may want to read his reply to Kenzo.

Hi All,

Today I called CIC office.

Actually I make two calls, when I call 1st time a male attend my call he asked me about my client id, date i sent applciation, the day cic received my application, my name, dob, source of sending application (i.e, regular mail or courier) etc... and in last he said me that he can't confirm the staus of my application untill unless I had of the all above information with me...Call ended.

Then after half hour I call again, this time a nice lady attend the call, In start I introduce my self...I told her the purpose of calling, then I clearly told her that I just have my Name and DOB with me, so can you help me in getting my application status....

In short he keeps me onhold twice....for about 20 minutes....then she asked me about my first language, my country, last residence country and at last she gives me my Client ID and B number.

I checked my staus at http://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en using client id, what I have got is that my application is under process and CIC got on 9th April.

She told me that my application is under process I may got my 1AOR in any time wihtin 2 months maximly. It can be in next week or it can be within 8 weeks.

Hope this information may be helpfull for who wants to call CIC.

My app was sent by agent in 1st week of April so that I don't know the exact date.
