Hello All,

Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah) i got my medical requests today. They are asking for FBI background check for the second time now. Can you please guide me if there is a faster way of getting the FBI results.

My timeline.....

Initial Application - April 22 2010
1st AOR - July 20 2010
File Transfer to Buffalo- July 28 2010
2nd AOR - March 2011
Your application has been reviewed....... line -Feb 9th 2012
Meds- March 7th 2012

I got an email that they have now sent my original documents. Guess for updates. Hope to find MR in it.

Forum members cant exactly say what happened to the cases with DM status.
Best is to apply for CAIPS now.
CIC is clearly on not issuing MR's or visas to people who has less PoF than they think is sufficient.

I sent all required documents to London. No updated document sent before getting In-process. Now they require me to get through that exercise again.

its an old practice and its a rule that Medical is expired after 1 year, so they'd normally ask to send that once again. they also ask for a renewed PoF just to make sure if the money is safe and still possessed by the applicant.

dear jnathanji,
Sir,u are absolutely correct.Before issuing MR ,cic would ensure that the applicant has adequate non-encumbered liquide funds ,covering POF,WHICH CAN BE REPATRABLE.

More importanlty,the ACTION of CIC in respect of prejune applicants has become increasingly unpredicatable.It seems,Ecas does not reflect true picture of our status. the information we get from it, is not a replica of what is happening behind the scene.
We can only wish nd pray that all goes off well.

Nope...usual time of 6-8 weeks for FBI report.

When do you have to send the FBI report? In case you do not get it in time you can inform your VO that the process has been initiated and will take some more time....but dont miss the deadline......

I can see that lots lots of Pre June 2010 applicants are seeing their Ecas changed to Real IP.

Hello ALL,
My ecas shows "IN PROCESS" without start date.It changed to IP wef Feb17,2012.What intrigues me is the fact that the details in the BOX is still what it began with.Recently,I got my address for Correspondence changed and it has started showing up in the ecas,as well.SPECIFIC CASE ENQUIRY was sent on MARCH 08,2012 so as to make abreast of the exact position.I wonder, if it will be of any help either,as VO'S reply will predictably be the kind of one generated by system nd nothing more than that.I am worried about the situation I have been pushed into.
I earnestly request Forum members to advise step I should take under the circumstances.
