please update my status in the list as today i received my 2nd AOR by the grace of GOD.
status was in process before getting 2nd AOR.i am confuse if its true or just error.

Sorry to hurt you guys, it was an inner feeling.

I refused many avenues thinking taht I will be in Canada before summer 2011 there, but I could not see any postitive changes so far.

Canada is my only choice for an immigration. I planned my whole life into Canada and I am bit frustrated because I have no idea when is that going to happen. I will be happy even if they give us an approximate time window even if it is a bit far so that I can plan my life in advance. But the visa office is always unpredictable and do not keep even an average timeline.

Anyway hope they will speed-up the process soon.

Yes.. I also believe that we keep life on hold when we apply for immigration and its really difficult to keep it that way for a long time...

I am only going to wait till july if my application doesnt proceed to next stages then I will simply withdraw it and get on with my other plans...

I can not take a lot of 'future' opportunities because my file is in process

thats why...

to elaborate a bit :

e.g. I am unwilling to change my job cause i then will have to inform the VO about the same..

I am not buying a home here in India cause I will need the money when I immigrate etc etc.

so if the processing doesnt happen within a reasonable time span then I will simply leave this course of action and get on with life..

I am in the same boat too. I want to buy a new house, but I dont think its wise investing any money in india if I am going to live in Canada. But the uncertainity is making me think an alternate way.

No one know what exactly is happening with the visa office. I didnt see anyone exept "JJ" got a medical request from Delhi visa office for almost one month now. Seems like they stopped issuing medical request from last month.

I am also planning to see things happening till the end of june and need to change my attention to a new phase. I dont know what to be done. I am totally confused at this point of time.

Just wishing things will change soon and we all will get the most awaited visa very soon.

I am confused at this point of time as well but at the same time I know that I can't stay in this position of an indefinite length of time.
Thats why I am thinking of the July deadline...
