Can anybody please help me regarding Relatives Documents:

I got my 1st AOR and I am preparing my documents to sent to my Visa Office Singapore. But I am facing a problem regarding my relative points.

My Spouse sister applied for 'Family Class Sponsorship' visa at January 2010 but she hadn't get her visa yet. Her husband is a Canada Permanent Residence guy. I thought that she will get her visa and will go to Canada before my final documents sent to VO. For that, in my initial application, I wrote that My spouse has a relative (Sister). As my spouse sister hadn't get her visa yet and I have to sent my documents within few days, what documents can I sent to claim relative points? OR Is there any option to inform the Visa Office that I am not claiming my relative points now? OR do I get reject if I can't show proper documents to my Visa Office?

Without this relative points (5 points), I will get 67 points which will be enough for apply.

Please help me regarding this matter...

The Question is about PHOTO requirement.. i submited my application to CIO along with my and my family's PHOTOS. as is was taken in March and submitted in April.. so do i have to take new Photos of all.. or i can use the same.. of course i will take new pic of my kid as he is grown up now, but what about me and my wife's photos....?

i think i can use them becuz there is not a minor change is ourselves so what u people sayyyyy...?

Hi Spondon,

Tricky situation...but not to worry.

You can mention in your cover letter that you had anticipated your relative to be in Canada but as she has not yet received her visa you will not be able to claim points for relative as was mentioned in your initial application. Request the VO to assess your application without the points for relative but also drop a hint that you may provide additional documents regarding claiming points for relative at a latter stage.

By disclosing the fact to VO you will keep yourself in safety net. And in case during the assessment of your application your relative does get the visa then you can inform the VO and he will have to include the points.

For applicants whose applications reached to CIO before 26th June, they fall under old rules. As per old rules, your PCC should be issued within 03 months period from the date of your application submission to CIO.

For Example if Your application reached CIO on 1st May 2010, the PCC should NOT be issued before 1st Feb 2010.

However, the only issue is many PCC (from Pakistan, India, FBI) dont mention any expiry date. However PCC from UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi) mention an expirt date of 03 months.

Saki / Mitali / Seniors please help us on this particulary about UAE PCCs. If some PCC specifically mention expiry date and that date comes before submitting full docs to VO, should we get new or still they are okay?

Plz accept my apologies. here s what you should do as Mitali also adviced.

1- Submit copies of forms u initially sent to CIO.
2- Fill up new forms since you will ve to mention new dates (for the time your app was in process at CIO) for your adresses and work experience.

Thats what i ll do. and thanks since i skipped the part related to CIO copies.

As in London VO guide, it is mentioned that send the photocopies of the forms that u sent to CIO.....then why should we fill and send the new forms as well? Couldn't understand....

What i understood is...if there is any change in work, address etc then also fill new forms, but if there is no change since ur application is in CIO then i think no need....

I have 01 more question.

While filling my initial application forms, for my spouse work experience, In the date columns i filled both "FROM" and "TO" dates for her current job as well because I was not sure what to write in "TO" box for current job so i put the same date as was mentioned with signatures.

While sending docs VO, should I explain this in cover letter that she is still in the same job and we put the date previously to avoid it leaving that as blank. Or should I also fill a new Form as well for that along with cover letter.

Please guide.
