I received a call from +911130270400. in the afternoon. i could not received it as it was raining heavily and i was driving. when i tried on this no i hear a foreign accent saying that this no is not in service.

Could this be a verification call......??

hi all, april 14 applicant here...but still no AOR. a little good news may DD was chrged june 21..i hope my AOR arrive na bukas...pagod na ako ma antay...huhuhu ??? pray for us who dont have AOR yet.. dont loose hope everyone...

I applied on 14th April 10 and as per courier receipt, application received on 21st April 10 to CIO, Sydney.

Yesterday i called CIC Call Center to get Status of my application and client ID. As per agent, they can't provide client id as file yet to create on my application. Then during talk, agent told me, now a days, they are clearing files received till 15th April 10 and balance files will take timeframe of 4 months..

Now i am confused and getting frustrating as my application received on 21st April 10 to CIO and file yet to creat on my application....

Hi Saki and Gavi,

It is established that Gavi has enough funds for a family of 3 after deducting the liabilities.

Now, he wants to show extra funds after he lands and he wants to support it by showing his Life Insurance policy which will expire in 2012. (Gavi, please correct me if I am wrong in my analysis). You want to show more than the required amount for POF.

You have two options :

1. You break the Life Insurance and pay penalty and put the amount that you get in a Bank account and produce a statement from Bank (As I stated in my previous post).
2. You can keep the Insurance as it is and show to VO that you will have 'x' amount of money by 2012. Even though it is not readily available, you still can avail it, if need arises.
3. Is your Insurance a fixed term type or are you paying installments? If you are paying installments, then again you fall in the trap of liability. But if it was 1 time payment of 6 lacs that will mature in 2012, then you are ok.

Gavi, this is my understanding......you don't have to follow it, if you don't want to.

Hi Gavi,

It is my personal opinion that you can show the net amount of money in your Insurance Policy since it is free of any liabilities. But make sure to explain in your cover letter that it can be availed at any time.

I agree to what mitali said and there is no harm of mentioning it, so do mention it and you will be fine dont worry you have enough funds for 3 ppl.

Hi,

It could be a call from CHC for some verification but dont worry if you missed it they will call you back if they really need to speak to you about something. Once ppl from Delhi visa office ring the applicant couple of times and he was unable to answer the phone each time then visa officer ring his wife and asked her some questions regarding his employment. So if they need some verification they will call you back dont panic.

This might be true but i dont find any reason for holding the applications received after 21st April because they have already changed the list and has restricted soo many ppl who were planning to apply. Dont get frustrated what has to happen will happen there is nothing you can do about it.

I got my Client ID number from CIC , you need to call them and check if a file has been created for your application , they will ask about First name, family name and date of birth then they will give you the number

Hi Samelgilany,

You need to call CIC call center number, and check if a file has been already created for your application, then ask for your Client ID number, the agent will ask you about your first , last name and date of birth before giving you the number, once you got it you can track your application status via both website and phone service.
