Hello All,

I have started this thread for Pretoria Applications

It is not necessary that your application will be processed in VO of your COR. In case you are eagerly waiting for PPR but your VO has already processed the applications past your date.It is better to call CIC and check your LVO where the file is getting processed...Some time many like me was tracking Delhi Visa office timelines (being Indian Citizen) but my case is getting processed in Pretoria ( due to workload distribution)

wt r delhi and pretoria visa office timelines? and who will tell us where our application is being processed, where to call? i am an indian applicant....

Call CiC..They will tell you VO or GCMS notes have that information

Anybody applied thru south africa. Pretoria

I'm Indian citizen living in South Africa and so applying from here. But there is no indication yet that my case has been transferred to the Pretoria VO. I'm still waiting for my background check to start. I'm still within the 6 month waiting time (approaching 5 months completion), so not sure if I should call CIC just yet.??

Hi Guys,

I got my
AOR 4th may 2016,
RPRF 7th June 2016
meds done upfront and passed.
BG not needed

And I am still awaiting for next step.
Any idea how long is it taking currently?

I am an Indian national currently residing in South Africa on a work permit. Do I get my PPR from SA Visa office or will it be India?
How will I know? Should I call up CIC and ask?

Regards,
Shweta

JZPASSI did u get ur PPR??

Hi everyone,

AOR = 11 April 2016

Current Status has been unchanged since then.

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents Provided
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not needed at this time
Final decision Not Started

It is now more than 6 months since AOR. I'm applying from South Africa and i understand that Pretoria is the office responsible for this application. I emailed them last week and their response was as follows:

"Please be advised that your file is in queue for officer review. Please also note that processing times are relative and only apply in about 80% of all cases. Once your file has been screened by the officer you will be contacted by our office."

From their response above, it appears that not everyone will receive their feedback within 6 months.

Has anyone with AOR April 2016 and applying from South Africa received their PPR?

hey dell2016 ,

I am a May applicant and also still waiting like you. I am a PNP applicant. So recently got a mail in mycic account to upload pnp certificate also to mail them to Pretoria office. I am not sure what they are doing. My status of the application is also unchanged.

Its just a wait game now. I am being active on other threads and seems like it takes longer than 6 months. If u r past 6 months, you can order GCMS notes to see whats the status and where it is stuck. You can also try calling their office or submit a CSE.

Shweta

Hello guys,

I'm also Pretoria VO. I've been searching for others from Pretoria here who applied PR and didn't get one yet. There is another forum called SACanada which is not accepting any new members. There are many patient people there with Pretoria VO :) Happy to see this thread.

My details are : Sep AOR, medical passed, Sch A and PNP certificates requested and uploaded.
Seems Pretoria VO takes more than 6 months to process :o

NDVO = 5 to 6 months
PTAVO = 6 to 9 months

Hi Shweta,

You are getting closer to PPR. Good luck!
Did you order GCMS notes?

I too got PNP certificate and Sch 4 request from Pretoria and I uploaded them.
From the other forum I see they were taking 9 months to process PR. But now it has been reduced to just above 6 months usually.
I also heard they implement a new system for faster EE process and they are getting used to it now.

Let me know your progress.

Hello,

I'm a May applicant (AOR May 10) residing in Zimbabwe. My VO is most likely to be Pretoria. Haven't had any updates since May when my background changed to 'not needed' couple days after medicals passed. Hoping to get PPR in two weeks! :D

Is there a Whatsapp group for "Pretoria VO"? If not, can we start one please.......................?
