I'd like to know from those who get their study visa approved, is it a single or multiple-entry visa?
I mean if someone has like 2 years course plan, can he travel out during course breaks

What about the Visa expiry date, will it be exactly as the program end date, can it be extended?
I'm asking this, as I'm still waiting for mine & I'm afraid if it will take too long, I may be forced to transfer for the next available semester.

As of 1st June, if I'm not mistaken CIC issue multiple TRV's only. Visa expiry date, is the last date that you may enter Canada. If you defer your studies, your study permit will be issued at POE exactly for that period that your studies last. However, if your TRV expires earlier than your study permit, and you have to travel, you may apply for new TRV within Canada.
