Appointing a representative - Signatures

Hello,

I have a two part question.

The first part is that if, on IMM 5476, I want to appoint a representative who is not in the same country as I am (He's in Canada now, I'm in Armenia) How do I get his signature? I was thinking about sending him the document to have him print, sign, scan and resend it to me where I would print it with the rest of the pages and sign as well.

However, I'm worried because obviously my representatives signature is going to look like it was printed out, not hand-written. Will that create a problem?

Also, the second question is, if I were to sign something like this

where the signature is out of the box, will that cause problems with my application?

Thanks so much for your help :D I'd be lost without this forum

you are right about the signature will be printed out if scanned. Government now a days do accept printed signature. To me since its an important signature. I would tell him print the signature page from armenia. Then send you express delivery with his signature on the paper. It will take time if you send the paper. Just tell him print it yourself sign it and send it to him express delivery.

Signature should be in the box. It should fit. I don't think it will create a huge problem if very little is out.
