Hi guys! I was just wondering if i can applying for work permit at the border. Im currently on implied status right now and have a positive LMIA. Im just thinking of applying at the border because it takes a lot of time to apply online and i dont have much time. Thanks!

Do you hold a visa exempt passport? If not, do you have a valid multiple entry TRV?

My TRV has expired and I dont have a visa-exempt passport. Do you think i can renew my TRV still?

On which basis are you planning to renew your TRV? you don't have legal status in canada.

In that case you cannot flagpole to obtain your work permit. I assume you are on implied status since you applied for the work permit either online or by mail. You will have to wait for this application to be processed. This is your only option.

And by the way the work permit I applied for the extension before my work permit expires is different from the positive LMIA i received just recently. I havent applied yet for a new work permit application for this LMIA thats why i am wondering if i can do flagpoling.

No - you can't. Your TRV is invalid and you don't hold a visa exempt passport. You need to apply from within Canada.
