Hi everyone,

I am sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer. If the parents already got a 5 years valid visitor's visa for Canada and it's already valid for another 3 years. So can the parents still apply for a Super Visa, even though their previous visitor's visa is valid.

Yes they can. They cannot apply within Canada and must pass medical and show a year of health insurance.

correct you can apply for Supervisa regardless your parents have valid or expire visitor visa.
in my situation my mom had valid visitor visa till aug 2024 but I applied for Super visa these year in Jan 2024.
The only criteria for Super visa is the applicant has to be in there home country for medical and also for passport submission.
