Applying for work permit extension/renewal at Canadian/US border

Hi

I want to get a post-graduate work permit at the border.
I also wants to visit my brother in USA a the same time.
Can I pass the border, submit my request and come back after a week and get my work-permit?
note: I have a valid study permit and visa, but I m not anymore student.

I’ll be traveling to Canada this August on multiple entry visitor Visa which is valid till 2023 end along with my spouse who is moving there on her study permit which is valid of 5 years.


I would like to know the process to apply OWP for me and can I apply this permit at POE?
