Hi,
I am applying for the first time for a study permit to Canada, the semester starts 1st of September and i still don't have all required documents to apply. I expect i will be able to apply the first week of August. Is it too late?
Also, i am going through the check list to be included on top of the application all that is required are:
Application form IMM 1294
Family Info Form IMM 5645
2 Passport photos
Processing fee
Valid Passport
Photocopy of acceptance letter
Proof of sufficient funds for one year
Reading some of the posts on here a lot of people seem to include extra material like statements of purpose and study plans letters, and/or letter from employer. Should i include that too will that increase my chances of getting the visa?
I have a general question in regards to the "Background Information" section of the application form IMM 1294. Question 2 part c) Have you ever been refused admission or been ordered to leave Canada or any other country?
After graduating in USA, I intended to take some more courses to have on my transcript, and i was in the process of applying to the Canadian university that i got accepted in now and planning to go there for a second master. Before the semester started in USA for the courses i wanted to take and after getting my acceptance letter to the Canadian university i received a call from ICE agent and he asked me to make plans to leave the USA. I never met him or had to sign any papers or such, never was arrested. I got my ticket and left the USA so how can i handle that on my application and what are you my chances?
Thanks and good luck to all,
