Applying for spousal sponsorship in Paris while living in UK?

Hi,

I am currently living in UK while my wife is a Canadian citizen. I was wondering if it's possible for her to sponsor me from Paris while I'm still living in UK? Do I have to be a resident of Paris to be able to apply at the Parisian embassy?

You do not have to be in Paris.

When you apply you include information your nationality and where you currently reside, and then CIC chooses which visa office processes your application once your sponsor has been approved.
