Hi to you all,

Me and my wife already submitted our documentation to IRCC after getting CIC ITA, now we are waiting for the processing time, which could be 4-6 months according to recent posts. So, here is the question:

Once we get the visa stamped in our passports, is it possible to apply for jobs before landing in Canada? Our plan is to land around July 2018 (when there is a decent weather out there), We understand that we could have better chances if we are physically there, however,we would like to know if is it worth it to apply for jobs while we are getting ready to settle in Canada.

Your feedback is appreciated,

Yes You can search jobs through Google, Indeed and LinkedIn websites.

I traveled Canada in August 2016 to get my PR Card, and left the country. Started to look for a job using sites as indeed.ca and others.
Finally in January received a response from a person working in a public institution in Regina, that eventually helped me to get a job interview as an IT consultant in other company.

After three phone interviews I got a Job Contract and traveled to Canada to join the company.

So I think is possible to get a Job living outside Canada.

But of course you need to :

1. Leave everything in God Hands
2. Have a well writen CV and Cover Letter.
3. A Skill and experience that not to many people have in the city you chose to live.
4. Some occupations have more possibilities than others I suppose

can you share your cover letter

Most employers contact you by phone, so with no Canadian phone number on your CV, i guess your chances diminishes substantially

Iam living outside canada
Which sim card and plan i can get to use it in my cv ?
