Guys those of you who got a passport request (those who applied online) do you get updates from vfs regarding your passport has been dispatched etc?

My application got rejected today. Here the reasons given by VO.
Reason 1 : You are not a bonafide student you will not exit Canada on completion of your studies.
Reason 2 : purpose of visit

Yeah seem acceptance rate is very less especially for Pakistani students. Thanks to our weak foreign policy. They take too much time in processing and reject it by giving vague reasons.
Hope for the best everybody waiting. IA you people will make through.

Mine already got rejected on the 10th of aug, applied on the same date as u , rejected for the same reasons as well. Strangely I have started to hate all these grey-haired old guys out there, they ruined this country for us!

Our application is processed in Abu Dhabi so our passport goes to Abu Dhabi or just the documents? And does Islamabad High Commission has our passports?
P.s. Online applicants who got a visa can be of help here as we can know the time taken for their passport to come back.
I'm asking about this since I'm thinking of withdrawing the application.

passport remains at islamabad, it is illegal to send passport out of country. You can get ur passport any time by requesting high commission through VFS
