So I am Australian and my partner is Canadian - she is sponsoring me under the common-law spousal visa and we have submitted our application Outland in January this year as we are living in Australia.
She is on a working holiday visa here which expires later this year.
My father recently had a health scare and now we are wanting to stay in Australia past the expiry of her holiday visa, and the only option that works is for me to sponsor her for Australian PR.
My question is - does anyone know if me sponsoring my spouse to get PR in Australia will have any negative impact on the processing of my Canadian PR?
Does anyone have experience doing something like this?
