Hi,

I am working as Manager Information Technology with an experience of more than 10 years. I have completed the forms listed below for myself & spouse and would like your feedback if anything is missing

Principal Applicant

Main Application - IMM 0008
Schedule 1 - Background Declaration
Schedule 3 - Economic Classes Federal Skilled Workers
Additional Family Information - IMM 5406

Spouse

Schedule 1 - Background Declaration
Additional Family Information - IMM 5406

Fee

Canadian $ 1700 Draft in favor of "Receiver General for Canada"

Other Documents

Photocopies of ID Cards of Principal Applicant, Spouse and Children
Birth Certificates of Children
Passport Photocopies of Principal Applicant, Spouse and Children
Photocopies of Marriage Certificate
Pictures of Principal Applicant, Spouse and Children
Photocopies of University Degrees, Certificates
Original Employment Reference Letters

I will be taking IELTS on February 21. Is it okay if I send the application before taking IELTS and submit the results at a later stage.

I do not have birth certificates for myself and my wife. What will be an acceptable equivalent?

What other documents do I need to submit.

Hope, that this wonderful community can guide me in the right direction.

Regards,

I suggest you use the checklist at your country specific instructions for information on what documents to submit and which documents need to be originals and which can be photocopies

I also had to submit two mailing labels.

As John says, review your packet very carefully against the instructions.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canadian-immigration-application-process-revised-federal-skilled-worker.html

On this page under number 3 it is given that only some basic documents needs to be send to CIO for assessment and if successful than during 120 days the applicant has to sent the complete application to VISA office of his/her country.

What are these basic documents?

Can anyone throw some light

Thanks this is helpful.

I think I should go ahead and submit my application to CIO without the IELTS results. These can be send to VISA office at a later stage.

Hi
I dont think you need to send any documents at this satge as these shall be later on asked by the respective Visa section.
Only things that you need to send are
the 4 forms
address labels
and fees
If you wish could send a cover letter
regards

An immigration attorney I spoke with suggested stapling the labels to a regular sheet of paper and the same for the check. This helps make sure they don't fall out of the envelope and get lost - causing delays. Also, include a cover letter where you list everything you've sent.
