Applying Canada Visitor visa from US(on tourism visa)

Hi All,

i (single) want to visit my sister(PR) in Canada. Right now i am planning to travel to US for vacation on tourist visa . Can i apply for visitor visa from USA while i am on Visitor visa in USA?
please help.

You can but have higher chance of refusal because you aren’t applying from your home country.

like @Naturgrl said, your chances of rejection while applying from USA is very high. Additionally, the visitor visa;s are taking a very long time. you might want to look into processing times before you apply

yes but the processing time from us is only 30 days.

Processing is an average. You don’t live or work in the US on a permit. To get approved, you have to show strong ties to your home country. By applying from the US, you can’t show strong ties that you will return home.
