Apply inside or outside of Canada?

Hi,

I'm currently putting the paperwork together for CEC, with my common law partner as the principal applicant, but I've heard conflicting info on what way is best to apply for it...i.e. from 'inside' Canada or from 'outside' Canada? I currently live in Canada but i heard that it's quicker if you make the application from outside Canada.

Any advice?

Really? Actually i have the same question, and for what I heard is the other way faster.

I mean applying from inside Canada is faster than outside, wish someone could tell us by experience.

Best to check processing times for CPP-O and that of the visa office in your home country. More importantly, no matter which visa office you select, keep in mind there is a possibility to be called for an interview and you will have to be able to travel there.

I have no idea, sorry. You may ask them for the status of your application and apply for your GCMS notes.
