Applied Without SOP/Study Plan

Hello,

I applied for a Student Permit without a SOP/Study Plan. I didn't know about the need for submitting a study plan until after I applied by several days, The reason is I applied online and nothing in the documents checklists or application mentioned that I need to submit it.

Does this mean I will definitely get a rejection?

It's more about which visa officer assesses your application. My friend and I both applied in April, without SOP, for the same program. Our profiles are exactly the same. While my friend's application was accepted, I got refused. I re-applied with an SOP on June 7 and am waiting for a decision. Some people say that you can submit additional documents using the webform (see a similar discussion here: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/forgot-to-upload-scan-documents.544766/#post-6733444).

I suggest you to send an SOP as soon as possible via the webform. Why take a risk?

Hello same situation also from Egypt. Applied on Sep 28 it has been 86 days now. What did you do if I can ask ?
