I just opened this thread to help people who have applied for Express entry with a letter of explanation. I will let you guys know if the visa office accepts my letter of explanation as my PCC from Qatar was taking a lot of time. As proof I used:
- The email sent from the Embassy of Qatar in Ottawa stating when I had applied for the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) and that it might take up to 6 months to obtain.
- Email from them local office in Qatar stating that my application is still under process for nearly 1 month now.
- A translated copy of the receipt issued by the Ministry of Interior in Qatar where my father has tried to obtain it locally along with the original receipt.
- Copy of receipt showing my application for 3 sets of fingerprints from Commissionaires Ottawa for 1) Qatar PCC application through the Embassy of Qatar 2)Canadian PCC and 3) Qatar PCC via regular mail sent to my father
- Copy of receipt showing my application for another set of fingerprints to send via FedEx to Qatar local office as fingerprints sent via regular mail previously were taking too much time to be delivered and did not have a tracking option
- Copy of FedEx bill and tracking information for package sent to Qatar
- Police Clearance Certificate from Canada
