I have applied in September 2008,i got a application no. and the status on site was" Processing start on 4 November" but in May 2009 the status has been changed to " Application received on September 26'2008".Could any body give views about the case.I m waiting n waiting.......link on CIC "check the application status" was last updated on 13 May'2009.

how can you check when your status was last updated? i couldn't find a linked tab for that.

We can see it "Check the application status" on home page of www.cic.gc.ca/ but one should know his immigration file number.

Hi,

Even my status changed from started processiing to received by visa office on 13th May 2009.

Could you kindly confirm your visa office mine is london.

Pls. try to send an email to your visa office, i have already sent them an email and they replied that it can still take several more months.

I also applied in sept 2008. Sent documents in sept 2009. E cas showing 'in process' since october 2008. Waiting since without any movement at all.
