Not exactly, I am a nurse. But the course is suitable for my career plan.yes i linked my paper yo online for my application, but couldnt link my kids and my husbands. My children are 10 and 6 years old. I actually just recieved an update on my hubbys open work permit today. They sent me a message to say application has been processed, i dont know the out come yet. Fingers crossed its positve

Hi! May i know how did you apply for your spouse open work permit? I had applied for study permit along with my husband's temp. Resident visa and the kids as well.. they got denied due to travel history but mine is still on process. Thank

I applied for study permit , my husband open work permit and kid trv. But then they cancelled and refunded kid application, they said they did not need to apply for TRV.
I applied for my husband opn wrk permt the same time with my application. I filled the forms and paid the fees, i included marriage cert and that was it. Am still waiting on his application outcome. he was unable to go for biometrics when the requested, hence delay in processing.he did give biometric on the 14th of july and i recieved message to application has been processed today 04/08/2017. I dont know the out come yet.

Yes I'm applying from U.K. But I have already messed up I didn't apply for my husband open work permit with my application coz I though oh we will go to Canada and apply and when I've looked at the times processing in Canada it's like 17 weeks so I spoke to an immigration consultant told me to wait and apply in England once permit has been secured but I'm thinking of putting papers in now and writing a cover letter etc hopefully that should be ok . Did you reicive a messenger online about your decision . I'm an inclusion worker for education and youth support worker so the program I've applied for is a advance diploma but not sure of how they will look at it coz I have a BA ipwhich I got in 2006 but since 2010 I have been working in this related field with schools and youth , just really stressed out to be honest xx

Hi sorry to ask you soooo much but right now I'm very worried about the open work permit , did your husband have a medical . I've just read the London office instructions and it says upfront medical ? Can you help me on this matter at this moment I think I should be ok if I can send the forms off because my is still processing and I will email the embassy and explain etc I think it should be ok considering they have all the documents if it delays. My study permit I still gave 4 weeks left before I gave to start classes xxx what do u think

No he did not need medicals because we live in the uk. And has not been away in another country for up to 6months.

I thnk four weeks should be enough to process your permit since you have already sent your application, but open work permt processing time in the uk is about 4 to 7weeks, so ur husband may still get his permit within the time frame. When do u start classes?

Dont worry too much. I think u should apply from the uk. 17weeks is a long time. Worse case scenario your hubby will join you later.
What course are applying for now, as long as you can show how this will help in you career dev then you shoul be fine.

My classes start on 5th September I've applied for the accelerated child and youth work program instead of 2 years it will be done within 16 months . I'm going to apply for his work permit on Monday and attach my cic information because they all have my documents I'm hoping that will be ok. How long did it take for your husband permit to come through I know you mentioned that you have had a message to say it had been processed which is more or less positive ! Where about will you be studying ? Worse case like you said my hubby can join later il just have to Mage with the help of my family here my mum can travel with me until he comes x x thank you so much for just listening and helping me .

Although passport was already sent on Friday
