Applied for wife- Islamabad

Hey guys just submitted an application for my wife today. I had a few questions as follows:

1) After I get an approval from Mississauga, would I get a letter notifying me and giving me a file number.

2)My wife is 3 months pregnant- she has done her medical except for chest xray- doctor says he will do the chest xray when she is 4 months pregnant. So once she gets her chest xray done does the result go to New Dehli and then Islamabad.

3) Is it posible for her to come to Canada before her due date which would be sometime in June

4) please share your experiences

If u hv applied 4 immigration then it is v hard to say u can read my timeline..........................yes i think so the xrays wil follow the same channel if i m wrong someone plz correct me.............................if u c the timeline 4 CHC Islamabad at canadian immigration site it say 9-14 months (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp) n if u c pakistani site it says 9 months (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp).......................................n it is just for islamabad embassy add 1 to 2 months 4 ur time which wil b taken by CPC-Misssissauga..........................first u wil get approval letter from CPC yes they wil send u letter n they will give u ur client ID # n through that u would b able to check ur process on this site (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp) ....................... then after the approval ur file will b sent to CHC islamabad n then in a month or so they will open file here n they wil send letter to ur wife with an IMMIGRATION FILE NO..........................n then the long wait will start ..................................... I hope n pray that u shud get her wid u As soon as possible as she neeeds u in this tough time the most ............................wish u both best of luck ALLAH HAFIZ

if u r depressed with my experience.......................i m sorry 4 dat and 1 more advice consult someone better n try ur luck wid TRV like a visit visa as if ur baby is born in Canada it is much benificient 4 u n the child specially as child wil b canadian by birth ...................... try to reach out SUIN here ask him/her as he/she has the same experience...................

Some of my family members that have gone through the process say it took them only 6 months. And what if my baby is born in pakistan what would I have to do? how long would the process be? Im really confused because some of you guys have been in the process for a long time while what I hear from my family members is 5-7 months. Any way thanks for your help

Do Medical Results for Spouse Sponsorship first go to New Dehli and then Islamabad ???
if its so, then Approx. how much time it take from PAKISTAN TO NEW DEHLI and then NEW DEHLI to ISLAMABD

My wife did her medical except for the chest xray. The doctor sent the results for the medical to new dehli. New dehli then sent my wife a letter saying you have to get your chest xray done within the next 90 days. anyway she is going to get it done next month. i just mailed her application today... Is there any chance she can get her visa before june???

in June it seem that her application process will be in 6th month approx. TWO things first is luck may be with in 6 months if lucky - other wise normal timing is 9 months

Only if you are a Canadian citizen. Then you have to apply for a passport for the child when it is born, or if not a citizen, you have to add the child to the application.

I am Canadian citizen but I was not born in canada. From what I understand is I would have to apply for a citizenship certificate for the child and that takes up to 10 months.. but could the child come to canada on a passport while citizenship certificate is being processed.

i m not an expert but wt i think u hv to give undertaking while submitting 4 sponsorship that u can afford ur wife n kids ............... n if u r on social security then def u cannot sponsor........................dats wt i know but yes others more experience can tell u better

sir i would rather recommend u to go for her visit visa first so that baby shud get a canadian passport straight away i dont think there is any chance of her getting canadian passport straight away if baby is born in pakistan..............however u neeeed to clarify such doubts through some gooood lawyer.......................and 4 your question................Some of my family members that have gone through the process say it took them only 6 months......................... same happened with me most of my relatives including all my inlaws who r there in Canada said the same that it wil take just 6 months n now it is 8 months since my process is in ISLAMABAD excluding the time at CPC - Mississauaga so carefully plan out everything............................thistime depends on 2 things 1st ....... complete application in all aspects without missing even minor things in my case i missed out my character certificate frpm few places which in my view i was not suppose to get as i submitted few other documents but even then they asked 4 them.................2nd ur LUCK.................now adays here in ISLAMABAD they r opening files after 3 months almost which was previously just 1 or 1 n half month as in case of my brother in law it just took him 7 months almost so better watch out ...............try 4 TRV if u can afford that
