Applied for family sponsorship in 2015 and still waiting? Plz share experience

Can I ask, where you have gotten the information about the applicants from Lebanon not getting visa, and everyone else has?

I have been reading different topics on this forum for the past few months and every month there is a topic called "Month Outland Family Sponsorship applicants" and I have been monitoring those topics closely and when I checked the 2015 months, I noticed that most people have already got their visas except those from Lebanon and a few from other countries who had to submit additional documents or had some other issues. I did not say All, I said almost everyone, but I know for sure that almost all males from Lebanon who applied for visas in 2015 are still waiting. We have another topic open here on this forum for the Lebanese applicants.

I see. I asked, because it seemed odd for the government to discriminate. I can offer this: You may see 800 of the 80,000 applicants on here. Unfortunately, it's hard to extrapolate performance data based on the forum. I do understand the desire to know what's happening -- I feel it too. But I cannot draw the conclusion that everyone from europe is being processed, and not my wife (who is from Russia).

I totally get your frustration, and I encourage you to order your case notes, and hold on -- the end is coming for everyone...

You may want to think about this question. Why is the average processing time for Afghanistan 23 months while that for Spain is 10 months?

Reason 2: This is for Lebanon and Jordan mainly. You know Canada brought over 50 thousand Syrian Refugees since 2015. Most of these applications were processed in Lebanon and in Jordan. Although more staff were employed to handle the extra applications, there is still too many applications relative to the number of employees working on them. Hence, delay.

salaam and hello everyone I am also apply 2015 I have experience that cic immigration just play for our feelings and when we get marriage then how can to cheat husband and wife each other just cic immigration said marriage is not genie how they can say that I think they have magic know everything about peoples as they are christen are Muslims everyone handle same situation when I give the interview and I know I give him all answer is correct and my relationship is before 5 years also she is my relative then they said your marriage is not genius and I am not satisfied

Why do you think that female apps are processed faster?

Its true female applications are processed way much faster at least in my country, i know 3 female applicants who got their Visa after 7 to 8 month of applying for family sponsorship, while all the male applicants are taking from 16 month to 2 yrs and also i know a person that took 3 and half years ..he got to reunite with his wife 5 month ago .

Wow that is terrible. I am sorry to hear that. Are they still working on your application now or did they close it? Did you provide more proof that you and your wife knew each other for a very long time?
