Applied for Canada Work Permit though my company. What's next??

Hi all,

My company has applied my Canada work permit and dependent visa for my spouse & 1yr old baby (USA born with passport & India PIO) on 6-March-2013 at New Delhi, India. My visa status shows as below.

"Your Passport Status
Passport received at Canadian High Commission, 7/8 SHANTIPATH, CHANKYAPURI, -, NEW DELHI, Pin:110021, Tel: on 07/03/2013 and is under processing."

Its been 6+ weeks. When can I expect response from them?
What is the further process?
Someone please help. Thanks.

Hi Naanku, I am from bangalore and the same case with me..the documents reached visa office,New delhi on 15th March. I could see the same status as yours..not sure why there is a huge delay

Same here, i have applied for my Work Permit, Open Work permit for my Spouse & Dependant visa for my son on 19th March at VFS center bangalore, I could also see the same status till now. Any updates in your case by chance??

if you dont' mind can you pls pass me your personal ID so that i can chat with you. I don't want to discuss few things as it is an intra company transfer its unfair to discuss few things

Mine is not an intra company transfer, i have a new job in canada & took an LMO & then applied for Work Permit.

We do not have any option instead of waiting . I applied on FEB 15th 2013, its still under process. I am from Bangalore.

We have applied for ICT WP + Spouse OWP on 1st Apr, AOR on 2nd Apr. No updates received after that. VFS Canada status shows "under processing".

Naanku / Rajesh / Punjabi, did any of you receive / complete ur medical formalities???
