Applied Candian TRV at New york

I got my TRV stamped and got all my docs back thru mail today....
Took me 35 days including weekends.

I mailed to them on July 9 by USPS with return prepaid envelope. The canadian consulate said they will mail back the passport shortly on August 15. I am still waiting. And I don't know why. By the way, I am a girl.

May I know the USPS class mail did you use & how long you should receive your passport based on the mailing time of USPS?

Hi I have applied canadian TRV at New york on Jul24th in person. They have told that check after Sep6th So far no response do you have any idea how long does it takes.

I wanted to inquire is if they took an interview when you went in person to the embassy or did you just submit your documents to someone and await a YES or NO answer???
Or did they take an interview...said yes and took your passport for it to be stamped and mailed to you....can u please let me know
