Hello all,

Anyone here applied for PGP sponsorship?
I sent my application in 2014 and my file was transferred to Pretoria for the PR part since Jan 2017.
I have not heard back yet. Any idea how long that would take? Is the next step PCC and Medical request?

We have a whatsapp group for Pretoria visa office applicant now...you can send your number to +27784841287.
Thanks

Hi I'd like to join the whatsapp group. Just sent a request to the number. Happy to see this thread revived:)

Hey guys. Hope you are well. I just saw this thread and thought I should share my experience. I applied for outland sponsorship in Oct 2016 and I have now received the PPR e-mail. The process took exactly 6 months to the day. The Pretoria office is normally very good.

Hope this helps as a guideline.

Moses!

Thanks so much Moses! Congrats:)

Hey everyone, how’s the timeline to get our passports back after ppr? The consulate mentioned 3-4 weeks, but it could be sooner. Just curious to hear from actual timeline from others.

Thanks Chansa. It helps knowing I'm not the only one waiting :)
The immigration consultant we saw before we applied said the whole process usually takes 3 - 4 months for South Africans, and I've seen some people say 6 months is a good average. I just can't help myself from checking the CIC status every. single. day.

It's different and unique for different applications. My spouse's BGC started September 1st, medical passed Sep 8th and DM on Sep 13th. She received her passport back today.
