Ya i read in couple of post and i saw some movement particularly in NYVO...
So we , victim of Buffalo VO , can hope for some movement too

I doubt it .. My bfd just went by and nothing changed .. Us unfortunates at Buffalo can only hope for movement in 2012

Hello Friends,

I applied For Skilled worker class on March 2010 and got my second file number from Buffalo on Nov 2010. Still waiting for medicals.Is it okay if i start applying for Canadian Experienced class or I can wait. Waiting for your thoughts . My friends got medicals in 5 months under experienced class category.

i suggest applying for cec.. i spoke to my lawyer and its ok to have 2 ongoing applications in cic. her advice to me was to include a letter in the 2nd application explaining that u already have an application, its details like category, aor number and its stage etc.. and that now u qualify for cec and are applying under cec..
i'm still gathering documents for my cec application, but i believe it will be faster than our FSW application..

i just cant decide if i should send my cec to buffalo or india.. indian VO seems to move faster than Buffalo for fsw.. but i'm not sure how fast it is for CEC..

seniors any input on CEC applications in Indian VO?

hope U still remember me, its been long time since I wrote in this forum, actually I was quite busy with work.

Yesterday, after almost 1 year I enquired about my file status (I applied from Toronto in April 2009), I have received the following reply.


"Your application is with the officer for review.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Regards, "

As I am not in touch with the current process steps, do u know what does that reply means , is it positive or negative and the most important thing is how long more do I have to wait ????

hi thread. imnew in thisthread but i filed mine through nova scotia then recieved by buffalo just this year...apri 2011. hoping i hear from them. i checked my status and it says that it is under pending review. how long does it normaly take for that to change to another status. what is the timeline here for those who are succesful. thanks seniors. more power to you all.

"UPDATED APPLICATION FORMS FOR YOU. THESE ARE IMM8 (Generic ad Schedule 1)"

Can anyone please tell me what forms are they exactly as I applied initial application in 2009 and I see forms are changed now.

no they didnt ask schedule3

they just asked me exactly this -->"UPDATED APPLICATION FORMS FOR YOU. THESE ARE IMM8 (Generic ad Schedule 1)"
