Applications filed through NS --> Buffalo (Filed from USA)

I have a quick question for my friend who got Sydney approval on 05/19 and sent Buffalo a full-application package on 06/04. However, it's been 3 months but she hasn't received the 2nd AOR. She emailed Buffalo but didn't get any response; by checking the mail tracking number, her package was indeed delivered; she couldn't order CAIPS report as she doesn't have the file number. Can anyone share any ideas for her? Thank you very much!!!

e-mail buffalo once more and look for the reply subject line. The subject line would have the AOR or file number, if a file has been created

We applied in July 2008 and now finally got our landing papers - 8/30/2010. We have till end of Feb 2011 to land in Canada.

We will have an addition of new family member by end of October. What do we do now?????? Baby will be US citizen. What option do we have now.....
sooooo worried!!!! Can't even go to sleep. Anyone has any advice on how to apply for new born and take her with us before our landing visa expires.......???????

How much time did it took in your case after medical done for passport request. I done my medical on Aug31 st and my DMP said it will be sent in 7 bussiness days.

I don't think you have to do anything, yet. The baby will be US citizen, so (s)he can travel freely to Canada. After (s)he was born, you can apply for her PR status in Can as your dependence. Nothing to worry about, at the same time, you can ask your country's Embassy to get her/him your old country passport. (S)he will not be required to choose one before turning 18.

Do you know when the status in e-Cas changed to "Medical results have been received"? In my case this changed in e-Cas on 10-Aug and I am still waiting for PPR from NY.

Hello,

I received a letter from buffalo office today as follow-
The CIO in sydney requested that you submit your "full" application to our visa office within 120 days from the the date of the letter. Please refer to their letter for complete instructions.
Our office will not accept any additional documents until a new buffalo file number is assigned to your file. Although your application may have been received, due to the volume of mail our office receives daily it is difficult to match these documents to your file. When your application is reviewed and accepted a new file number willl be assigned. Once you receive this file number you may resubmit these documents.
All of your documents are being returned to you in this package. we have not retained a record of these documents in this office.

BTW, on the 3rd Detroit responded my inquiry that "Your file is ready to be finalized. A more detailed instruction will be emailed you in the next few week." Then, on 13th PPR was received by my lawyer. Also, my e-Cas hasn't changed to "Medical results have been received." Perhaps, they don't have time to update the e-Cas.

Congrats loveucanada, I have a friend who has his application xfered to Detroit office 3 months ago and he got PPR last week. They are moving on all application after summer vacation, really... God bless us all.

My file was transferred to LA office on Aug 18 but my e-cas status is still "Received by Visa Office"
Have not received my medicals as well.
