Garian, how do you find out if Ottawa has received the medical? I can't rely on the DMP to send the meds on time. Worse yet, I have heard that the DMP has claimed he has sent the results just not to be bothered again.

You can call the DMP and ask them for a tracking no.
In my case, my DMP is still waiting on the blood reports...they said it takes about 3 1/2 weeks to get the blood reports and later they compile the reports and send it to Ottawa. Even if you dont use an express courier, the DMP will be able to provide you with a tracking no. as these are all sent in as registered post.
Once you have the tracking no., as Garian mentioned you can track the status of it's delivery.

It shouldn't take more than 3 weeks for the blood results. Once I got the results next day from a lab. Regarding the tracking number, who's to say that the pkg has YOUR results. Hope people have better experience with the DMPs.

My status now shows Medicals have been received. I also know that the RPRF draft was encashed on Aug 8 although there is no update regarding this in my status. Any thoughts on how long to wait for the PPR?

@ GARIAN....IM BIT CONFUSED....did u crosscheck that ottawa recive your result on 3rd....acc to my dmp....he said its not possible to send medicals before 4 weeks.....in tht case if u r done with medical on 19th july...ottawa will receive it around 22nd august

anyway u can expect ppr anytime

It really depends from DMP to DMP..mine sent it out in 2 weeks. Ottawa takes 15 days to process that information at their end then forwards that information to the respective consulate...calculate accordingly and then send an inquiry email to the consulate after another 10 days...they generally get back to you within 10 business days.

Hi garian4u,

I went through your timelines. I noticed you got your 2nd AOR in about 2 months after sending all of your documents to Buffalo.

I should say you are very lucky. I have seen some guys on this forum waiting for 5-6 months to get their 2nd AOR. What do you think is the reason for you getting 2nd AOR so fast? Please don't mind me asking you that question. I am happy for you and its inspiring for guys like me who can feel that "It can happen this fast with me too"........lol
