Guys, fresh update, status changed to "In Process" today for me. So, I guess my processing will contiinue in Buffalo with no transfer.

Update!

I got my medicals today. The letter was dated June 17th.

Does this mean my case has been approved?

Yes, unless something is wrong with your medical result or any outstanding background/security check.

Also when I receive the PPR, does anyone know if I am allowed to send my passport directly to the visa office in US from Canada?

No problem you can send it from Canada.

I see so much movement this tuesday,,guess buffalo jus moved a bit faster last week,
it feels so gud to c every1 happy n moving in dere process..hope we all finish in gud hope dis year..

My case is still the same "Received by Visa Office"...My file was transfered from CIO on March 24th,2010 and I got my AOR on 30th April from Buffalo..it's 2 months since my File is wit Buffalo..!!!!..And No status Update yet..since I submitted my all documents together..they didnt asked me to send smthg as of now...but they didnt even notify for file transfer nothing...??

Shall I email Buffalo office, but last time I emailed them, they sent with a standard email response template..nothing..no information they gave,,,!!

Any Suggestions...??????

We received your application for permanent residence on September 28, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on November 30, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Buffalo office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the Buffalo office on December 10, 2009. The Buffalo office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on June 18, 2010.

I would say, Buffalo is picking up on its processing speed now and you can wait for some more time. You are sure to see your status changing to 'In Process' soon. You can follow our Buffalo friends' timelines to get an idea on your wait time.

aries9811, I would suggest that do not send any more status enquiries to Buffalo. Wait some more time patiently. When did Buffalo actually receive your documents? Mine was received on 10th Feb, AOR was sent on 29th Mar and it took till 22nd Jun for a status change
