Yes, you did. You have nothing to do more in your case.beauhoe said:I am not sure if the email that I received from my VO confirming the reception of my medical results is sent by mistake because I sent in all receipts I got from the DMP with a letter telling them the situation I am facing with my wife the same day of our medicals. Two days later I filed the declaration because I realized that my wife is not going to change her mind. I did everything to minimize waiting time.
Wait for any correspondence from them, and if you do not get any within two weeks, send them an email enquiry.
As long as i remember, they have told you in one of their last emails that your PPR will be sent soon, didn't they !
I want to say something for you, and please do not get me wrong:
Taking kids away from their mother is not an easy decision.
If i am the immigration officer who is processing your application, i would not accept the declaration alone. In such a situation, i will ask for an interview with your kids, and wife, and you to make sure that she really does not want to accompany you and her kids to canada, and she is completely satisfied and aware of the results of her decision.
Because if not, it will be a crime, and the immigration officer would not agree to get involved in it. It is not easy to convince someone that a mother does not bother taking her kids away from her.
Hope you understand my point.
