In the letter, it is mentioned that the amount of money to cover up 6 months..I don't think that I will spend $13,837 dollars in six months. Moreover I will be spending some money from that amount here for shopping the necessary things before I move to Canada. Can anybody find out if 6-7000$ will be enough or not?

You don't have to have all of that amount in actual cash, some of it can be bank funds.

However you MUST have proof of the bare minimum settlement funds. The figures listed are what CIC considers you will need for 6 months living. They don't really care what you feel you will need for 6 months living, you must meet their minimum requirements

Its just my personal opinion:

The address that appears on the e-cas is the corresponding address of the applicant, which means VO contacts/posts documents to the applicants at this address. VO makes the address available so that we can edit the same if there are any changes in the address. VO just doesn't want to take the risk of mailing the applicant to a wrong address.

Now, when the address disappears, it means that the VO has just sent/mailed you something and now the address couldn't be changed (as they have already mailed u something.. it could be 2nd AOR, MRs or DMs).. observe that all of them come via posts (register/ordinary).

another point to be noted is that e-cas changes to decision made after VO releases ur stamped passports (Plz check with the guys who have received their visas.. DM date is latter than Visa issued date)..

So its just my observation.. people could have other theories as well..

Well well well, dsvrk ... My address also disappeared a day ago or maybe longer and they have sent me MRs last week. Your theory makes sense somehow

hello my dear magdy can u tell the name of the place that issue such birth certificate in abbasya and the exact address to can reach there easily and what time i should be there to avoid delaying. also before 15 days i send e-mail to cairo visa office i told them that i have sent the documents that asked and i did the medical and i asked them how i add my baby to application as my wife is pregnant and near to deliver my baby but today they replied by telling that( ur e-mail was fowrwarded to the responsible officer) i want ask u what this means why they u not told me direct what i should do to add my baby is this normal reply thank u my friend

Just go to Abbaseya @ 9:00 am and ask from where can you get the computerized birth certificate. Everyone will tell you

The VO will not tell you anything regarding the baby issue except when you tell them that the baby is already born. Then they will send you instructions maybe by email like what they did with me.

Hello Everyone:

Been away for 5 days moving, and had no access to the computer. I see we had another applicant from Buffalo receive their Med requests. A look at the tracker points out it was Johnyusa. I have around 500 pages to cover, and tried to find the post where Johnyusa informs the board about his Med request without success. I also tried to search his name to read his posts without success.

Could someone be kind and let me know either what page he posted on or what happened? Did he first go in process and then receive the med requests, or just received them. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

There are cases that the immigration officer has not checked for the required minimum funds for immigration. However each case can be unique. As we all know finding a good job in Canada is difficult for newcomers (except for the lucky ones) , one must take whatever cash is at disposal. However keep in mind that countries like Nepal have restriction on how much money you can take ( i guess around 7000 USD person for immigration cases). Also if you carry a collective of more than 10, 000 USD you have to declare it.

Indeed, asking for POF at POE is optional - the immigration officer may ask at his or her discretion.

However, if you are asked, you must show you have at least the minimum required settlement funds that CIC has outlined.

Hi,

Yesterday I sent case specific query to ND VO about PP status after decision has been made (14 days elapsed)
I don't know what is happening there

I suspect it takes time due to change in name of principle applicant to everywhere after when I sent renewed PP (new name after marriage)
I can see new name in ECAS since the DM but I don't know where it left to update
If I don't get any response till next Monday then I will send fax to visa office

Please guys give me ur suggestions

OK! Well I know the rejection is disheartening but the good news for you is that your NOC is still on the list, and it is one which is unlikely to fill up in a hurry. So time is on your side.

Not being able to get duplicate IELTS from British Council is a pain in the ass but I have heard people who have managed it. They may be able to send them to a company if they won't send them to you directly.

Also you can try quoting them the Data Protection Act. If the information is held on a computer in the UK then they legally MUST furnish you will all personal details about you which they hold on their computers, without undue delay or expense, in writing, on request - and that includes IELTS results. That's UK law, so any policy they have is irrelevant it won't re-write the law and they are breaking the law by refusing to furnish you with the details. They are allowed to charge an admin fee but they are not allowed to refuse outright. Of course having to furnish you with the details doesn't mean they have to produce a copy certificate - they can I guess just provide it in a letter - nevertheless if they are being very awkward if may be a card worth playing.

It's the same time period in all VOs - Visa is valid for one year after medicals are done. Till then, you have to land in Canada.
The last thing usually is passport request and RPRF request - in some cases it's sent together with MR.

Some good news for buffalo applicants...i didn;t check ecas for couple of weeks and guess what i got medical, RPRF and PCC request in my mailbox. Then checked ecas and it stated in process. So buffalo is moving little bit i guess.

Now the trickiest part is that my wife is pregnant and so she can't undergo X-rays test. But we have X-rays before she pregnant (like 2 months before), so my question is there a way we can use these X-rays for medical exams? Have anybody successfully used old X-rays for medical exams?
Also, we still have to order new PCC from both FBI and embassy which i have already done. Will keep you guys updated.

And buffalo applicants, start organizing your PCCs etc, you may be next....good luck. I hope everybody gets it soon.
