I just want to share these ever since I applied for immigration..

After 112 days that CIO received my application - PER

36 days after PER - 2nd AOR

2 days after 2nd AOR - Medical Request

28 days after Results were submitted - Passport Request

22 days after CEM received our passports -
VISA !!!!!!!


A total of 33 weeks and 5 days


I received our visas today in a long brown envelope with serialized tapes indicating my file number..

The envelope contains the following:

- Me and my husband's passport of course with the visa..I'm hugging and kissing it..hehe
- COPR
- Letter from CEM, 5 pages, included is PDOS info.
- All my documents that were submitted (all of my docs. except the aplication forms)
- Receipt of payments

DHL called me this morning and I went to their office to pick it up, here in my home town ofcourse, I paid them the corresponding fee

We have not submitted our passports yet :, but we have that additional line 'Medical results have been received'

Update:

The passport office messed up once again . We will wait until this evening for them to issue the PCC or get the passport back and approach the SHO.

Has someone got the PCC from SHO at all?

The link says we can get it from SHO also. But there is a possibility that the SHO will try and send us to the SP office for this.. Let's see..

SHO will guide u to DCP office..there u have to file application...which will first come to SHO ..who will verify ur address..then file will go to Special Cell..they will verify ur record forfor criminal record,econimic offence,anti theft,anti terror records...special cell will also visit ur residence....This certificate is LPC(Local Police certificate)

Ok, interesting thing.

With out sending passports to VO the status ( Medical results have been received ) adding means, some bug issue. But few already sent the passports with medicals yet to add this line!!

ND VO ecase status interface might have designed by some Red chip Robo's

In my opinion..post 29th sept file nos are from E00..which r entered in GCMS...these files are showing medical recieved,whereas old applications B05 are in old system..my guess is they will have decision made on or after VISA is issued(as per trend in NEW DELHI PASSPORT TRACKING THREAD)

I am impressed with your kids, they will be great guys as you are.

We are starting the week here in Cairo after the vacation of 1/5 & I hope there will be some news. Our friend Moori got his PPR exactly one month after he did his mediacls. I am taking you as a reference, since we did our medicals very close to each other (2/4 & 6/4).

But I wouldn't expect updates for me as I think they are waiting for me to inform them that my wife has given birth to our little girl.

Waiting ... & waiting ... & checking status on e-cas as usual

;D I fixed every thing to get the PCC in a day's time... but still waiting for the time to come so that i will go CP office nd collect it on day it is required..

Updated! It should be your VO...why Paris?

Becuase my doctor told me that he send the results to Canadian embasy in Paris... there they check the results and after that they send them to my VO.
