I just got to know that my application fee has been debited from the credit card. I sent my complete application on 12th March 2011. Does this mean that now they will sent me my first AOR/PER whatever it is? I applied from US.

I am wondering does deducting the application means something positive or its just that they do it for all the applicants?

Dude, please address any requests to update the tracker to all the admins, not just to me.

As I've explained several times I have very limited access to the spreadsheet during the day whilst I am at work.

Days will vary from visa office to visa office and even within an individual visa office we have seen some large differences between some applications. So really isn't possible to answer your question - the only thing you can do is look at the tracker and made your own best-guess assumptions from there.

Hmmm... Well, I am not sure what CAIPS notes is either. :(

Anyways, since they have asked for the RPRF & Medicals, my best guess is that the delay won't be much as most of the processing and other checks (apart from this Marriage thingy) should have been done by the time we submit these documents. And once they receive them, they should probably just take a week or two before asking our Passports for the final stamping.

Let's just hope my estimations are correct. But, this twist is definitely perplexing. :(

Thanks,
DarKnight

Please, update my eCAS status to "Received by Visa Office".

http://www.visa-medicals.co.uk/canada.htm

I had a look through this site for DWP in Nottingham, since here is probably where we will be taking our medicals. It seems like they don't directly access your GP's information.

They ask you lots of questions and also ask you to bring any medication you are currently on. If you have any serious conditions like heart troubles etc they ask that you bring a report from your GP.

Might be worth a read because I imagine it is very similar for all the DWP in the UK.
