Today is turning out to be an eventful day for me. Just been informed that AOR dated February 17 has been received by post. Please update. So background checks are performed after AOR.

Great! I was not even aware of this. I have already made the payment and scheduled to take the finger print on Sunday morning. Hope they do it rather professionally. Dr. Ray, do you know anyone who had done it with accuracy from them?

yeah! unfortunately it was me. I had to do it for myself. It worked for me just fine. No worries.

Great! So, it took 22 days for it to reach you ??? And meanwhile i guess your BC itself is hopefully complete with the series of calls today

Yes, we realized that the BC happens after the AOR printed date, but most likely it will be complete by the time it reaches you :-[

Nice to see the forum rolling in terms of PER, AOR, MR and PPR. Congratulations to all who have received one of these.
Friends my boss just received a verification call from CHC, New Delhi. It was on 11:07AM local time and lasted for less than 5 minutes. My boss was asked about my joining date, if I am present today at the office, my current post, structure of my organization and whether my boss signed my reference letter or not.
Fingers crossed. Hope my file will be processed now.

i am 5th may applicant having e-cas status RBVO-(newdelhi) 28sept,1stAOR---18NOV ,2nd AOR
.looking to the superfast speed of postjune 26 applicants processing by newdelhi visa office , i decided to reapply at end of april2011 in same NOC category 3111 which will never reach upto1000 cap even after june2011.
My question is should i mention in my background declaration of my previous application?should i withdraw previous oneafter getting my PER? will i get refund back of RPRF and processing fees? i will give another IELTS on 2 april 2011 since british council cant give originals.
PLEASE REPLY.

Did you do your medicals and pay the RPRF? If yes then why would you like to start everything from the beginning again? ???
You might get your visa before your second application reaches CIO.

Whats the date your 2nd AOR was issued? 4th march may not be the right date as it seems to be the day you received it. Please confirm.

2nd aor letter was dated 21st feb, stamped 22nd feb and i received that on 4th march

Medical forms are included with the request and they come by registered mail for ND. Its definitely not email for the other VOs too.

I need to inform Singapore VO of a change of address of my previous office. Do you know what would be the best way to inform them? I have just got my PER on 3rd March. So, they might not received my documents yet. Should I wait for that or I can inform them in advance? Thanks.
