It's a disaster!!! I just found out that my explanatory note to the working experience contains 2 sever mistakes that possibly caused this confusion with the proof of my experience!!!!
1) I wrote that went to the maternity leave in 2006 instead of 2009! Can you imagine. I just shaved off 4 years of my experience (that is almost all years I claimed for working experience).
2) There is a phrase about the employer that they "asked me not to leave the position" and I just skipped the word not.

I have a deep shock now and hardly breathe!!!

I am so lucky they just asked me for the workbook instead of just fail me. Of course, in the forms all the dates were correct and I have attached all my contracts, but such mistakes just unbearable!!!

ohh my.. i can only say that u are very lucky!!

Am sure you'll be ok cur-Rozen. Glad they seek clarifications rather failing you. You may want to write a brief covering note to clarify the mistake with the earlier submission. BTW, having a sort of an official "work experience passport" is such a nice idea. i wish this can be introduced in other places.

Guys...this is surprising to me..

6 days have passed and my ecas reads in process...

Although some of you said it means in transit..I thought take advantage of being in canada and call the call centre of CIC.

well the lady said it means it is processing at visa office And I asked all this in a week after PER..she said may be and she has no knowledge of application outside canada...not surprised.

I called for clarity and more confused....LOL ::)

Any ways cant find a reason to trust her as this are same people who said it will take CIO 33 Weeks after opening my file...and My PER came week after that call..... :o ???

Thought I would share.

Take Care.

Hi Donmar,

How's your application? How long are they [Kingston Canadian High Commission] going to process your application? I have a friend [Jamaican citizen] who's planning to apply another FSW category. Just wanted to give him a heads up.

Take care.

Kris
