Hello,
I am a new member to this forum...
We have applied fo FSW, and just received medical, passport and landing fee request as well as PCC. We have to submit al docs by 4/15.
I need assistance, because our PCC's were nearing the 3 month deadline, we decided to mail them to the VO (ND) after receiving the PER. That packet is yet to reach the VO. We just got our requests today. Do you think those PCC's will be applied towards our application or will nedd to send new ones. We were sending some updated documents and thought of including the PCC's as well.
Thanks a lot for the help!

Time line: Application submitted 8/24/20, PER: 12/13/2010, AOR: 2/24/11 Docs request: 3/1/11
VO ND, 1122

Pls update. My Ecas has changed to In-process

Hi,

We were unable to log into ECAS for a few days so played about with a few details on the log in page. My place of birth was the issue - originally I could log in with UK - then we couldn't log in - then it changed to England etc. Then we couldn't log in again. Anyway - managed to log in today!

Please can you update our status to 'Received by Visa Office'?

Many thanks.

Could I please request everyone to update their details on their profile? It is very helpful to others to read the details at the side of the post - it gives some context to the comments.

With regard to Visa Office progress - some lucky ones are already getting Med requests and some are still waiting in the dark, but as far as I know there are only two of us who are living without our loved ones while waiting through this difficult time.
I would ask those who are waiting to think how much harder it might be to wait and worry alone without the support and companionship of your partner.
There is some comfort for you in the fact that, however long it takes, you can spend the waiting time together.
"Always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself" it is said, so be grateful for what you have and the time will pass more happily.
I wish everyone the bet of luck and hope that what we have heard from London in recent posts does not mean a longer wait for any of us.

hi everybody
I am new here but i am following the forum since a while.
.i send my application on 21 oct 2010 and my credit card was charged on 28 oct 2010. NOC 2121

I hope London Vo do not keep us waiting much longer! It is a hard process to go through alone, i understand! I am applying on my own in the hope that sometime this year I will be reunited with my parents and siblings!! ;D

Please update my eCAS status to "CIO ER complete". Also, please copy formula to my "Days elapsed since PER received" cell (P243). It doesn't count days.
Thanks.

Hi dian1,

Sorry to hear about the NER. Now that you know what exactly they want you could either FAX them the additional documents or reapply as NOC 2121 has not reached the cap yet.

It will be interesting to know what documents you had originally sent along with your application that apparently did not satisfy the officer. This will be very helpful for the future applicants.

I also wonder if you have already received the Refund, then will they entertain any FAX for your application???

We have been asking around family and friends in Canada where we should land and start to settle. So much pros and cons about the different provinces. We concentrated on asking about Vancouver, Toronto and Winnipeg because these are the places we have close family and friends and here's what we got in general....

I liked how you stated things
I was like -lost- in the small details.. Your post helped me put things in a better perspective. You are right, what matters the most is having a good job.. & fast, in order to have some stability in our new life

We were also thinking about Calgary, they always said that it had good job opportunities..

Do you a reliable site with profuse information on Canada?
because, the net has many sites with different perspectives that makes me dizzy sometimes?

I came across this post in another forum and thought it would help some of you to kill the wait time ;)

A. Who should immigrate to Canada?.....

Thanks Indira,
Nice post.

It has always been the secret to success..
Just work hard (refuse to fail) & soon you'll succeed,
combined with faith, miracles happen,
relax & feel good about your successes .. & you will be happy :)))

I believe that it's that simple.. but sometimes, the simplest things are the ones most hard to fulfill
ain't it? :)

Today i got reply from CHC london

..........

Ummm, that isn't good news..
I hope they are mistaken in something..

10 months.. ewww.. too much.. & we are after them?

Well, my passport has changed, & my status now mentions "received by visa-office"
Maybe i'll send them the changes & inquire as as well about their time lines. Hope to receive better news than the one you received..

what email address have you sent the inquiry to? & how long did it take them to reply?

But if that it the case, why are <J26 applicants getting medical requests and PPRs from London, yet >J26 applicants have not even got 2nd AORs yet? Doesn't sound to me like >J26 are getting priority?

Wayne.

if >J26 applicants were getting priorities.. we would have heard something from them by now

reality have been found a bit different from VOs & CIOs replies, which is found to be sometimes erroneous
