Ours is in "IN PROCESS" which we are crossing fingers means visa office have our application and are mid-way through our security/background checks!

Regarding Nursemich's medical requests coming only a few days after AOR. I think (just guessing) that AOR is sent by an admin team and they probably have a bit of a backlog. Whereas med requests are probably actually requested by the visa officer reviewing the case. It wouldn't surprise if in some cases med requests came before AOR!

Wayne.

Does your application number start with 'E' or 'B'?

Hi all,

Have been away for a while with a little surgery - appendix is off now - and I can see a lot of developemnts on this thread.

First of all - warmest congrats to those who received PERs recently

Secondly - special congrats to all Manila VO applicants with second AOR and specially to Nursemich with med and PCC request. All the best in your further steps and hope you get there before spring ends.

Thirdly, coming back to the discussiob about B and E file nos, I suggest that E states for electronic (Cur-Rozen's info) and it also relates to the GCMS system. That is in my opinion a real fast track (Nursemich to confirm that her/his file starts with E). All who has B (including me) are for some reason included into the older system and will be in queue with pre-June applicants.
This is IMHO as always.

Dude, three posts saying exactly the same thing. Whats up? We know you are happy.

Admit that I am still waking up to all this excitement (CONGRATS Nursemich) and I have re-read the post just now. I wonder if the Medicals have been requested while background checks are ongoing? It was this bit that made me think so: "Once we receive satisfactory medical results for you and your spouse and have no further concerns in the other statutory requirements," Surely, if the b/g checks were already complete they would not have worded it this way. Apologize if someone has already come up with this suggestion. There are so many pages to catch up on!
Congratulations again NM...so nice to see a Nurse leading the way to Canada!

Continually spamming the same thing over and over again is more likely to annoy other users than to actually get your question answered.

Yeah! I got a email reply for my request to report those posts to the moderator :)..

I wish everyone is given the privilege of using this forum, but i thought the whole purpose/mood in this thread was getting distracted by such people. We are here to discuss about how to live better :) and help others to do the same :), not to hear how many women are killed in his dreams everyday>:(.

May he realize things and succeed in his mission to Canada :)

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

According to Vicky she knows someone who was failed, after medicals had been done, due to background checks. So yes it does seem that background checks happen simultaneously with medicals being done.

Makes sense from a timescale point of view. Just annoying to spend that amount of money on medicals only to fail for something non-medical related.

Okay I am really confused about PCCs after reading different comments on this thread. From my understanding, those who did not submit PCCs with their initial application to CIO will be requested to do so by their VO.

I thought the three months requirement no longer stands (that the PCCs have to be no older than three months before they are submitted). What is the latest update on the validity of PCCs? Your insights are much appreciated.

just a thought: and have no further concerns in the other statutory requirements can also refer to the nbi clearance, which is the police clearance to others. :)
