Rina and I have been in contact but I last heard from her some time ago. I have PMd her recently and there has been no reply. I don't know whether to be worried or think that she is just away, but I fear the worst :'(
I would be so sad to hear that she has been rejected, so I am hoping against hope that she appears here with the good news I have received. I know that I was scared about being the last person left behind on the list from my date who had not received PER and I now feel for her as she was left all alone on the spreadsheet.
She is a really nice person and deserves to get the news she is hoping for.
Here's hoping she returns soon with positive news.

I was using the phrase in its meaning, not referring to the named applicant :
I was hoping to know that Rina was safely through the first stage, but my hopes were raised by a misunderstanding.

I've been busy for some time now that's why I've not been able contribute in the forum.

Could someone please update my details. I received an email from CIO to write the general IELTS test. I knew it was coming but am happy atleast they gave me a second chance.

I have one problem actually password of my e mail has hacked hence i have no access to my e mail now. How can i inform this to CIC. please help.

Come on all you puter people....speak out. Is it possible to change the password or would PB2010 have to get a new email address and contact CIO by fax on the "address change" number?

Dear friends,

We received email yesterday with a bad news. They rejected us because I didn't convinced them that my one and half experience as a registered nurse is equal to one year full time. They said they will refund our payment in 8-12 weeks. My husband is down, but is not giving up. He really likes Canada after he took a training course in Vancouver. Now he hopes to get a job offer from Yukon, however we don't know anyone there. Wish you all the best in this process, friends!

Chinkazus: I am so sorry that you didn't make the MI requirements this time around....if you count your experience as ridgidly as CIO must have, how many more weeks/months until you WOULD make the required number of hours? Next question: If you look at the LPN job duties and compare them to the duties that you perform as an RN all the time, do you not do the majority of them??? A friend of mine who is a nursing instructor told me that LPNs seem to be getting full time employment much faster than RNs right now as well. IF your job duties match the LPN then you can make your NOC requirements as soon as you have performed the full year equivalent and reapply. I wish you every success.
